Hack to save some money

I feel like we can all stand to save some money.

This is one of the things that my family is doing to make it happen.

We have been buying big chunks of meat from Costco, slicing them up and then vacuum sealing them for the freezer.

This saves you at leastttt a few bucks per pound. We have done this with chuck rolls, New York strip roasts and a top round.

It feels like a lot of work at times, but honestly, it’s sooo worth it!

And the best part? All the scraps can be made into ground beef!

We got this nifty meat grinder for our Kitchen Aid and it’s awesome!

Our pup loves when it’s meat processing day! There she is yelling at my husband because she wants a little morsel. She totally got some too…. she’s pretty spoiled. <3
